Fog Functionality Setup

Setup: Showcontroller Live V1.0 Build 21.12.2022 / Laserworld DS1000RGB MK3 - Laserworld ShowNet Interface with static IP

I can't find any documentation how this works, as the docs for ShowNET on the https://showcontroller.com/en/manual/1-showcontroller/1-4-supported-hardware-for-showcontroller.html page the link https://showcontroller.com/downloads/shownet_manual.html refers to a non existing page...

In the program you can configure 4 Foggers via DMX also if i look in the Live Scenes you also can specify DMX channels and there values.
How does this work, because it's hard to find any documentation from ShowNET or Artnet...
Can the animations work like they do over Artnet like they do over ShowNET? (I did find a video about setting up your laser to Artnet with the ShowNET Admin tool to pass thru DMX signals but then he speaks you controll the laser with Artnet to DMX to control the laser and then the purpose of the live software is gone for me...)

Is ShowNET capable of passing thru DMX signals, and what is the desired setup from the laser then???
Also if this requires a DMX controller is there a link to a compatibility list?

By any means i'm not afraid to change networking to Artnet if needed, i do have enough knowledge of networking (CCNA) and really technical explanations or refers to technical docs don't scare me either.
